Artsy Aspiration #1

I finally did it. I signed up for a photography class. Well, actually two classes. I have already gone through the beginners class, and this week I start the intermediate class. I am finally doing something with my camera. I am on my way to being great at something artsy!!

I am going to start a new project in the next week or so, and I need some song suggestions. Do you have any ideas for songs that I can put on a wedding video? If so, please leave a post. Thanks for your help.

I go to a monthly scrapbook club where we make pages and where we used to make cards. A lot of my stuff is from what I made there, but here is an original card-I used Close to My Heart supplies.

Hi! My name is Christie. I do not claim to be the most creative or artsy person-at least not yet!! I love to scrapbook, take pictures, and decorate. I also love anything to do with the arts-visual art, music, theater dance etc. My goal with this blog is to tap into my more creative side and make it a bigger part of my life.

Hi, I am Ann, and I have artsy aspirations.

I bought a digital SLR this summer in hopes of developing my photography skills. I am still in the developing stage. It takes dedication and practice, which I guess I lack most of the time. I have the camera, photoshop, and Mac computer, all waiting for me to just do it.

I also enjoy making slideshows, put to music, using iphoto and idvd. My most favorite part is picking the right song that will draw the emotional response I desire from the viewer.

My dream job would be to have my own magazine with me as editor.
